1. No resort fee and FREE parking, hard to beat if you want to spend your money elsewhere, like on shows.

2. golden nugget is further away from strip, but have shark aquarium)- first, given that free cocktails are served everywhere, you would not be able to drive back from strip to your hotel, second, if you take taxi, you would spend quite some time in slow down-town traffic and spend money which could probably get you into a better strip hotel.
