1. I'm not saying it is far to the closest metro, but there are other similarly-priced hotels in the city that provide a better mix of safer neighborhood and metro access.

9. I selected this hotel because I was attending an evening business event only 2 blocks away (had it not been for the event I would have chosen another hotel in a more vibrant neighborhood of DC--so tourists be warned: Capitol Hill after dark is quite dull!).
