7. Don't expect 5-star amenities, but do enjoy the relaxed yet attentive staff, the clean, pleasant rooms with a boutique-hotel decor, extremely comfortable mattresses (which matters to me tremendously) and an easy walk to everywhere, including Aspen's only bookstore.
