3. My friend and I did have a nice talk with the manager telling her of a few of our experiences and how we were surprised at the lack of service in a hotel that seems to exude a certain sophistication.

The front desk gave us the option of switching to another room the following day after 3pm when we got back from the slopes, but when I went to the front desk in the morning to confirm the plans a different lady was working there who was very rude, unreasonable and unwilling to accommodate us or even do what the previous manager had promised us.

5. the good: once we got the new room, it was very nice and quiet, tv worked, and the other manager who promised us our room originally ended up knocking off 100 dollars per night on our bill for first two nights in the crappy room.

9. I will also add that this doesn't include the bar of breakfast staff who were all good, though we often had to listen to the buffet manager at breakfast explain the most ridicules things to her staff in a loud unprofessional manner.
