5. You will spend most of your days in the amusement parks or the shops, and the view of the resort was notthing spectacular (I did not see any fireworks -- but it could have been there were no firework shows during the time I was staying there).

6. In fact, after checking into the hotel, I had to search for someone to help us with our luggage (10 minutes too long!)Our room was beautiful and recently updated and we had a great view of the swimming pool but looks can be very deceiving.

7. We much preferred the Disneyland Hotel because as a result of the renovations the rooms are nicely appointed, the floor to ceiling windows provide excellent views and the rooms are significantly larger then at the Grand Californian.
