4. However, watching the fireworks from bed was great fun and very few hotels offer balcony doors that open anymore (the newly remodeled rooms in the Dream tower seem to have done away with them).

5. Had I known this there is no way I would have dragged our kids back to the park at night & fought the crowds (just to see it over the castle- not worth it!) Right now that tower still has the mini-balcony, so we could have looked out & enjoyed them perfectly (and there is even a channel on the TV featuring the music that goes with the fireworks).
