1. Not sure staying here is worth the money as there are plenty of shuttles from nearby hotels for free.

2. The taxi from the airport was $35 plus tip each way and worth not having to stop at multiple hotels like you do on the shuttles.

You are certainly paying a premium for staying this close to the parks--having previously stayed at some of the off-site properties, I can say that it is very nice not to have to deal with shuttle/buses etc. With that said, if you have older kids, hotels like the Hyatt or Embassy Suites that come with larger rooms for less money may be a better option with the exception of the pool areas.

8. You simply cannot overstae the value of walking out of the park and a nice stroll to your hotel without shuttling or driving or any extra steps in your day.

All the cast members we interacted with were terrific, from the housekeeping staff who left chocolates on our pillows, to the guest services agent who helped us with shuttle bus transportation back to the airport, to the front desk clerk who located the birthday package John's sibling had sent him.

10. It is worth the expense over other area hotels to wake up and walk to the theme park and not have to wait for shuttles etc. Also, we found it convenient to take a short nap one day around noon before heading back.
