6. we were there with a tour bus group for the balloon festival- had our own car because we met the tour there- I was worried from the first minute about leaving our car parked there- insisted my husband park as close to the door as possible- had him check the first thing every morning to see if it was still there - it was!mattress and pillows were OK- bedspread was very old- carpet looked old- my socks were black from walking on carpet-tiny little table with 2 chairs- vanity area was tiny- as others said, the shower water is very strong- towels were the old, thin kind but were clean- someone else mentioned fridge and microwave- we didn't have either- air conditioner unit was very noisy- woke both of us up several times during each night of our 3-night stay (yes, had to suffer thru 3 nights since we were with a tour group)- breakfast waffles and boiled eggs were the highlight of breakfast- they accommodated balloon festival guests by opening breakfast room at 4 each morning- the last night the electricity went off for some reason- fortunately it was back on in 10 minutes- outdoor swimming pool did not look inviting-motel is located in industrial/commercial area so you can't walk to anything- very near interstate- fortunately nothing happened to us or our car- would not stay here again because I was uneasy the entire time.
