The hotel is seemingly in a convenient location, however the neighborhood to the south and west is very sketchy, lots of drunks, homeless people and drug dealers and users hanging around but McAllister street between Hyde and Larkin is pretty reasonable as there is the UC Hastings law school with two uniformed police officers always there.

2. At night I could hear arguing and fighting on the street and several times at 5 in the morning I could hear and see the flashing lights of recycling trucks noisily emptying the bins in the alleyway next door.

3. There's really no where to park but on the street (parking meters) if you're lucky enough to find a spot.
