1. We checked into the hotel and were told the hot water would be out all weekend and we could cancel or accept a 50% discount on our rate.

2. To take advantage of the discounted rate I was told by the night guy I'd have to call the booking website myself to get discounted the amount which seemed ridiculous to me as the booking website said I would not have my card charged and I never signed anything or authorized the amount that was deducted.
