5. The location was ideal for me; close to my niece ( the main reason for my visit), within walking dstance of other notable sites, close to shops, restaurants, transportation, casual nightlife, the spectacular Golden Gate Park.

The hotel is very well located on Divisadero in the Lower Haight/NOPA/Alamo Sq area of the City--good watering holes, restaurants (excellent apps and pizza at Ragazza and Jay's Cheesesteak is the perfect spot for tasty late-night grub ), record stores, neighborhood boutiques all around, a great area to explore and much more interesting and vibrant IMO than Union Sq West were we usually stay for a night out in the City.
