1. Across the road from the hotel was a pub, quiet enough with a few snooker tables and as Ive previously stated an Irish bar just down the road, a lovely restaurant next door with a terrace outside and a 'slushy Joe' type fast food place down on Divisadero.

2. The only downside is the on-street parking, which was really hard to find on a friday night (45 minutes of looking for a spot!) Still, it's worth it, and with Faletti Foods and Peet's coffee just a block away, we were happy, and we'd definitely stay at the Metro again.
