3. And one more thing about locations: I don`t think you should avoid hotels on Market Street if you find a good deal - that street seems to be dividing fancy from sketchy, but it is still half-fancy and steps away from completely fancy.

4. - Protesters every morning just down the street at Hotel Frank make sleeping past 7am nearly impossible, especially if you have a room on the Geary St.

7. I chose the hotel for its location i.e. buses travel along Geary Street, 15-20 minutes walk to Chinatown, 8 minutes walk to the nearest cable car stop, many Downtown San Francisco attractions are within walking distance.

8. One of the members of staff were friendly and helpful enough when they were there but more often than not, the desk was left unattended the majority of the time so when it came to checkout we didn't want to leave our bags there during the day as anyone from the street could walk straight in as the door was wide open.
