2. Over all this is a good hotel in a five star location and the staff was very helpful in answering all my questions I sure will return next year for oracle week.

3. On the plus side, the housekeeping staff did a good job of keeping the admittedly dingy surfaces clean, and I only saw one undersized cockroach.

One of the members of staff were friendly and helpful enough when they were there but more often than not, the desk was left unattended the majority of the time so when it came to checkout we didn't want to leave our bags there during the day as anyone from the street could walk straight in as the door was wide open.

5. Hotel was in an ideal location but I wouldn't recommend staying here - the staff were lethargic in their approach (apart from one nice guy) and didn't seem to care too much.

8. You are only two blocks from all the action downtown: cable cars, shopping, Union Square plaza, etc. The staff at the front desk was very helpful.
