1. For a very reasonable rate we had two nights in the city within easy wallking distance of Union Square, full breakfasts, an amazing French dinner and discounted parking just across the street, all included.

8. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but it does not open until 8:30 on weekends and 7:30 on weekedays, so if you want to get going early you will need an alternative, of which there are many in the area.

9. All hotels in San francisco add a 14% hotel tax to your bill when you check out- this is not included in the rate that you are quoted - so budget this in when you make your plans.
