Not the way I wanted to start my day!the Good:-Room was clean with a nice bathroom-Individual garages included to park your car-Good location, easy walking distance to all the restaurants/shops on Chestnut-Free WIFIThe Bad:-Small rooms-Courtyard rooms have NO privacy and you might get a view of something you don't want to see.

2. The staff was friendly and helpful; gave us suggestions on where to find nearby restaurants, explained how to reserve our garage for ourselves so it would still be free if we were coming back to the hotel late.

4. Lombard Street is one of the main streets through SF but just round the corner is Chestnut street with lovely independent shops and restaurants and you get a real feel that the people are mostly local from the area.
