1. I asked to be moved and was told the hotel was full and that as I had booked on line and got a cheap rate the room was as good as I could expect.

2. I booked these hotels online so I figured the location must be the reason for the high rate but Westin has a better neighborhood than this and a few minutes walk to embarcaderoHere are other gripes:1.

3. I've been in 3 so far, all located in California (San Francisco, Monterey and Santa Monica) I really recommend them as they are always very clean, quite new, the value is very good comparing to the rate (around 100$US) and the breakfast was always excellent.

4. The rate to stay was better than most major hotels in the area, but the room was cramped and the bathroom was very small, not comfortable at all (the door hit you in the knee if you closed it while sitting down).

6. The rate is good for San Francisco, but my stay was sheer hell as the temperature never dropped below 80 Fahrenheit even with the curtains closed all day & the air conditioning (so-called) blasting on full all day.

8. On reading form, it only stated $1.75 plus tax- which is all I offered them as they were not entitled to charge on a daily rate as it did not stipulate it.
