5. We made reservations 3 months ahead, and planned on paying the $26 per night parking fee, but when we got there, they couldn't promise us that if we left the parking ramp, we'd get a spot when we returned.

One of the front desk clerk was curt and unfriendly when we were asking if we could deposit our bags early, enough to make me want to cancel my reservation, unfortunately I would have forfeited the fee for the first night so we just let it go (FYI at bay landing they let us leave our bulky luggage in their storage room while we explored the city)2.
