1. The other disappointments: no view (but very quiet) and no bath, only a shower which is not very convenient with small kids.

4. -not sure what the views are like in most rooms, but my 2nd floor room was of a HVAC unit covered in vines and the inside of the person's room across from me.

6. The room was great -- clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, with kitchen (stove top, oven, sink), study area, nice tv and DVD player, etc. I even had a great view of the bay -- stay in room 1105 and you'll see what I mean.

10. if you`re in town for a shot while with not enough time for Yosemite or the Sequioa forest, this will get you a VERY excellent view of the great redwoods in a relatively small forest compared to the two above, but large enough to offer several trails directly through the redwoods and over a rive a few times.
