1. We basically parked our rental car for 2 days which cost us about $300 between the daily rental rate and the parking.

2. I'm not sure if this is the cost at other SF hotels, but in the Portland/Seattle downtown area, $20-25 a night is standard so this was a bit more than I expected.

4. Parking is costly in this area of San Fran, however, there is a $20 overnight lot across the street and it is a very safe neighborhood.

6. Since location and Marriott Points got us this room And I wasn't planning on eating or drinking there, Room Service and cost of food and drinks did not matter.

7. I stayed at the Holiday Inn directly across the street and it was a much lower cost, has a pool and you did not have to use valet parking.
