1. Most of my time was spent sightseeing the central areas of the city, and happy hours in North Beach (Vesuvio is an absolute must).
"Wonderful location, nice hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/20/2009 Vote
2. The hotel is a small-ish boutique hotel right across the street from the Gates of Chinatown, and within walking distance of North Beach, the Financial District, Tenderloin, etc. It is a bit of a haul on the electric trolley or Muni to the Castro - but I only went to the Castro once or twice.
"Wonderful location, nice hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/20/2009 Vote
3. Amenities are modest but good quality, and the small rooms have charmingly innovative decor echoing the beat poet theme of nearby North Beach (the wallpaper is a typeface excerpt from Kerouac's 'On the Road').
"Fun and comfort on the edge of Chinatown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/13/2012 Vote
4. )It was my friend's birthday, and we wanted to get away from the beach for awhile, so I knew exactly what to do.
"Fun + Swanky + Pet Friendly in the Heart of SF's Shopping District " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/3/2012 Vote
5. It's right at the entrance to Chinatown, and therefore just a quick walk to North Beach.
"Tremendous Time at Triton " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/27/2011 Vote
6. This place has personality, and is great for people that want to walk to Chinatown, North Beach, the Ferry Building and Union Square shops.

7. 10-15m walk to North Beach, 8m to Bart, close to great restaurants and Embarcadero, I am sure if we return in Feb we will be back.
"2nd stay great " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/22/2011 Vote
8. Located in a pretty street close to the China Town gate, we could walk to most places (we don't mind a climb) we visited, from Quoit Tower to Union Square shopping, SF MOMA, cable car stops, North Beach for dinner, and Grace Cathedral.
"Nice Boutique Hotel, Tiny Room, Great Service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/14/2011 Vote
9. It's in a great location near Union Square and North Beach, two of my favorite areas.
"My new favorite SF hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/29/2011 Vote
10. The rooms are simple, yet in an art deco style (very similar to some of the hotels we've visited in South Beach, Miami).
"Great Location near it all in Union Square " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/18/2010 Vote
