1. There is a small foyer inside the room which leads to a well appointed and spacious bathroom, and a spacious master suite and a very comfortable king size bed.

3. At check in, I inquired about upgrading to a suite and we were given a complementary upgrade to a 1 bedroom corner penthouse with 2 bathrooms, living room & kitchenette.

7. We booked it through their own web page and we got a pretty good deal (compared with the rates they have in the lobby) and we got (without asking) a big suite (1608 if I remember well).

8. No worries about safety here, big burly security guards everywhere with the suits and earpieces (which is a bit much for me, but im sure the Simpleton traveler will feel secure).
