2. Super small rooms--many of which overlook walls or Hvac units; no restaurant (can't even get a cup of coffee or a soda); huge, loud in room heating and a/c units; a $10 fee to workout at the local YMCA down the street; none of which they even disclose on the Kimpton web site.

5. The hotel was clean and quiet, but with the room charge, valet fee and taxes, we payed nearly $700 dollars for 2 days, which is outrageous given the size of the bedroom and accompanying tiny bathroom.

7. Their only breakfast option is continental room service which, with a $3 delivery fee, 20% gratuity, and taxes means that even a bowl of granola and yogurt will set you back $15.
