1. It's literally 2 blocks from the Ferry Plaza, which has plenty of dining options for breakfast and lunch, and the best wine bar in town.

3. The location is great, right on the Embarcadero overlooking the bay, walking distance to the Financial District/Union Square, the Rincon Center is right across the street with lots of shops, and there are some nice restaurants and bars on the block also.

6. Perry's for breakfast (the only real option) is not too pricey, and the food was much better than expected (it looks like an old bar from the outside).

7. You can also walk about a mile in the other direction and get to the baseball stadium and the bars and restaurants that are in that neighborhood.
