1. When you come out from the hotel, you will find many good restaurants right down on the street, plus China Town within seconds.

Yep it's not the place for someone who wants all the modern amenities and frankly be sure to pack light because schlepping heavy luggage up all those stairs is a real drag (though I must say the staff is very happy to assist you with managing it) but it is in a top location, the heart of North Beach with fabulous restaurants & bars within walking distance.

6. But the location in San Francisco is second to none, you are surrounded by beautiful restaurants, bars and you just feel that you are part of a neighbourhood, easy to walk to all the tourist attractions and the hotel provide a local walking tour which is very interesting and has the history of the buildings featured.
