1. This isn't the newest of hotels or the best around but if you want value for money this hotel is great.

2. Think we paid approx $170 for the night and do not think that this really represented value for money, although there was free parking which was good as it always annoys me when US hotels have an additonal charge to use their car park.

5. YOu can take the cable car from the wharf to Union Square and come back again(however it is 5 dollars per person one way but it is a lot of fun and worth the money) Then if you want to go some place else, the bus lines ( which are cheap) are right down the street from the hotel.
