In the evenings, at the main pool behind the beautiful
lobby
, they have lots of activities throughout the day, but the one we liked the best was watching the karaoke.

All in all, the service was great, all of the waitresses and hosts, and whoever all of those people who stand around in hotel
lobbi

There was not noise barrier to the music being played in the

and we heard this into the wee hours.

When checking out, I called to have someone help my mother and I with our bags and no one showed up so I had to go and get the valet cart myself and wheel things out to my vehicle across the croweded
lobby
and not one employee offered to assist.

The best two pools are the ones at River Island (with the lazy river and waterslides) and at the complex behind the main
lobby
.

you're greeted at the
lobby
with refreshments, beer, balloon animals for kids, etc. The room was an RCI exchange and from the get-go you get the sense you are second-rate.

Upon walking into the
lobby
we were immediately escorted to a side room where we were first told we would be charged an $8/day amenities fee -- no mention of this when we booked the trip.

You can then go to the
lobby
and pay each night or at the end of your stay, but if you just want an ice cream, a drink or a postcard - it must go on to your room number.
