1. I was looking for best room rates in South Miami Beach for my holiday in march and I found The Clay Hotel.

Def good for party-people and less for relax-and-stay-in guests;Room:basic equipment (TV, AC), clean-ish; check out a few rooms;Staff:not very interested in guests or their wishes - which is ok as long as you get a decent rate;Location: you can conveniently walk to the beach (3blocks), shopping, nightlife.

6. Otherwise, everything about The Clay was great - the rates were very cheap, particularly since it was a only a 5-min walk to Kennedy Road shopping and dining and a 7-min walk to the beach, and the vibe and atmosphere of Espanola Way at night is second-to-none (despite the noise).

8. We asked the room rate on arrival and were told $75 for a double room with one bed we accepted the rate paid and were given cards for room entry.

9. My overall experience as a traveler, I will not rate the hotel from 1 to 10 but I will rate the hotel with a 20 because the service they provided me with was wonderful and safe at all time.
