1. The river is across the street, the Tribune building just to the right and fantastic architecture all around.

2. As for food I would recommend the corner bakery down the street but the hotel's restaurant (Hoyt's Tavern) is a rip off.

3. The location is perfect, right on the river next to Michigan Ave, right across the street from the magnificent Trump Tower, with a great view.

4. You cross the river to your left and you have Rush Street and fantastic bars,restaurants and shopping.

5. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but every morning we ate in a bakery at the corner of the street which was excellent.

7. We went to pretty much every tourist attraction during our trip and I dont want to write too much on here about which are worth it and which ones aren't but definitely go on the River and Lake Boat Tour(90 mins), its right across the street and it was fantastic.

10. Three major steakhouses were within a block, and there was a White Hen (like a 7-11) across the street - where we almost saw a robbery take place when we were walking home from the train.
