4. For some reason, housekeeping started the mornings around 07:30 with parading up and down the hallway shouting 'Housekeeping!' And at 8:15 am they came in the room to make sure we heard them and asked again if we wanted them to start cleaning the room.

5. Our room was missing the mini-fridge and microwave that the description said would be there, but one phone call to the front desk and both were quickly brought up by the very friendly housekeeping.

6. On the positive, housekeeping was very responsive to our requests for additional towels and when I called about a problem with the light in the bathroom it was fixed quickly.

7. Now, the negatives (sort of)--Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a good job of keeping it clean, but we did have to request some items-- washcloths, glasses-- that we usually take for granted.

9. As for service, housekeeping and room service was always spot on with our requests and the concierge was very good with his recommendations for dinner and brunch, didn't try to push the restaurant on premises, to us.
