1. I could go for a run in Lincoln Park in the mornings (great views)and the hotel had a deal with a gym next door which (although in need of some upgrading) gave me access to a lap pool, steam room and spa pool - great for the jet lag.

3. No view and limited daylight but at the price I was paying in a city where hotel rooms are often at a premium I had no complaints about this.

4. Not to mention Chicago Comics, Pizza at Brick's or Rinaldi's, the Brew and View at the Vic, Uncle Fun's, Hanig's Shoebox, and of course BINNY's for wine and cheese and beer.

5. The room was a bit dated and my view looked directly into other hotel guest rooms, I had no city or street view at all.

8. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Lake-view and Lincoln park, which is what we wanted to do, but the rooms are small, and we paid extra for a large business class room and it was small.

9. We did not have a view because we were facing the inside of the building which was fine with us as I had heard the outside rooms were a bit noisy due to the traffic on the streets.
