1. The best feature though has to be the location (mid-Manhattan, coupla blocks from Central Park), but also it was just across the road from a general store and a mere two or three doors away from the nearest Green deli (great breakfasts): the only downside in this respect would be night-time noise from traffic on the crossroads below: but, hey, it's New York.

4. We were happy to have the kitchen and we generally prepared our own breakfasts but there were numerous supermarkets and shops nearby where we could buy fresh bread, bagels, fruit and anything else we wanted.

5. There is a great little new york style diner across the street on 6th and 57th, you can get a great breakfast for 4 bucks.
