1. Our bill was more than 1.000 dollars, and the refund, less than 30 usd, just the exact amount of we pay to replace our missing clothes.

2. The concierge folks are great; one of them accidentally gave me directions to a different retailer than the one I was wanting to go to~he apologized, gave us a card for 2 free drinks that we were unable to use and we found a $15 credit on our hotel bill.

3. Everyone on the staff is friendly, attentive and nice (although the concierge didn't fit the bill and seemed a bit perturbed each time we approached with questions).

7. Also, multiple problems with my reservation - I prepaid one day and needed to extend to a second and their system could not gracefully handle - I ended up with two reservations, two bills, being checked and locked out of my room after the first night, etc..

9. I would suggest the upgrade to a bigger room or suite (worth it if you can split the room/bill with 2 or more people) and you'll enjoy a great hotel within the heart of bustling NYC.
