1. The bar is swanky and fun - the kind of place you wouldn't be surprised to see a celebrity or politician in the corner (not that we did).

2. Oh, and bring your credit card for the cocktails - the bar is absolutely fabulous and they serve the most elegant, old style cocktails you can possibly imagine - but you really pay for the treat - our cocktails were more expensive than our dinner.

3. when your guests are assigned to those tiny rooms I would suggest you throw in some comps like breakfast or a drink at the bar as goodwill to offset the likely disappointment in the room size.

4. The bar is really nice and has a replica 'round table' that Dorothy Parker and her mates used to convene around every day back in the early 1900s.

7. To start things off, we stayed at this hotel for a single night only, so we probably did not have a chance to experience the most this location had to offer, especially just to soak in the history of it and it's great looking bar/lounge.
