It's in a mostly residential area of Park Avenue in Midtown so the
neighborhood
is fairly quiet and peaceful.

I got a pretty good rate from SniqueAway ($249/night--though I later realized that this was not a huge discount from the normal rate) and the hotel was in a
neighborhood
that was convenient for what I wanted to do in New York, so I booked it.

Park & 38th is a quiet and pretty
neighborhood
that is still convenient to uptown, midtown, and downtown both on foot and by subway.

Walkable to much of Midtown and the theater district, yet this part of Park Ave is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square so other than some light traffic on Park Avenue the
neighborhood
is not noisy late at night.

Located in the Murry Hill
neighborhood
, it is mere blocks from Grand Central and the MetLife building but very quiet, a rarity in New York.

The location is great -- Murray Hill is a good
neighborhood
with plenty of places to eat and drink, and the hotel is right down the street from Grand Central, so it's easy to get anywhere.
