1. Of course the location - at Lexington and East 57th street - is still outstanding, and the staff have remained friendly, if not always competent.
"Minimal upkeep, and it shows " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/8/2012 Vote
2. Minus: URGENT need to change the window - mine almost fell into the street when I opened it to get some air, so you can imagine that it doesn't shut tight and let in traffic noise.
"Unbeatable location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/11/2011 Vote
3. There was free access to a mid-range sports club down the street, which was a decent gym.
"Adequate, bland hotel in midtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/18/2009 Vote
4. The food in the restaurent was also great but there are diners on every street , which is handy.

6. The hotel is very accessible for Central park{3 blocks}, Bloomingdales{1 block}, CVS{pharmacy/grocery}{2 blocks south}, subway{2 blocks north to 59th street, take a sharp right for 4,5,6 routes, weekly metro card is $30}.

7. The staff were lovely and the location is perfect (5 mins walk from the subway at 59th street) Didn't use the restaurant (why would you when you're in New York?!) If you can get a good bargain here I don't think you could do much better.
"Great value and perfect location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/27/2009 Vote
8. Lexington is a pretty charmless street, but 3d and 2d Streets are nearby if you want to be in more of a neighborhood, and it's also within relatively close walking distances to 5th Avenue.
"Adequate, bland hotel in midtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/18/2009 Vote
9. There was a street fair going on right outside hotel the day we came.
"Clean & Comfortable! " Read full review on Expedia   7/30/2009 Vote
10. That was a big relief considering we never would have found a parking spot along the street otherwise.
