Recent stay in Fitzpatrick manhattan Hotel very nice room recently refurbished but had an awful experience as it was infested with cockroachesAlthough we were given one night accommodation and a complimentary breakfast this was definately something you would not expect in a 4-5 star rated hotelWe moved into a temporary room at 3am in morning which was freesing cold and we ended up getting very bad coldsOverall this put a damper on our holiday and definately should not happen in a top class hotelWhen we got back into our room after it was fumigated a paper with a dead roach on it had been lifted from the bath by housekeeping or the fumigator and left on a shelf in thebedroom, how insensitiveThe roaches could travel so fast from room to room and up walls and curtains everywhere it was really awful and when we opened the room door they were even travelling along on the corridor outsideThe night porter was very understanding but reception were not and really did not have any idea of what we had been through.
