1. Downtown, or SoHo/Nolita/MPD, have much better vibes and we'd choose to stay in one of these locations when we next go back.

7. We walked to TSquare and Central park and to shopping on 5th, no problem, but in the evening it was not as straight forward to get subways back from downtown because the line that is right outside the hotel only ran until early evening and we were often out until much later.
