Our usual places to stay when coming into Seattle overnight are Silver Cloud Stadium (pricey, but fun rooftop pool), Marqueen (love, love, love it here), Holiday Inn Express near Space Needle (cookie cutter hotel, but convenient), Silver Cloud Lake Union (great breakfast area - like a huge living room overlooking marina), Paramount (great to stay if taking in a show at Paramount Theatre and we love the Dragonfish Restaurant), Watertown by the university etc. I only mention these so you know what kind of places we customarily stay.

4. If you want to go to walk your dog you better be prepared to either walk or drive 2 miles to Green Lake Park, which can be hassle to do in the morning before going to work.
