1. You can easily walk to the Space Needle, there is a bus just down the road,which takes you down to the market,etc: There are eateries around the corner ,a lovely Irish Bar,a 24 hr Safeway only100 yds away,all in all.

Some great places in the neighborhood are Peso's or Laredo's (both are Mexican restaurants with fun bars), The Great Nabob for a neighborhood bar with good local beer on tap, The Sitting Room for a cozy glass of wine and European-style hors d'oeuvres, and don't forget 2 Seattle institutions for casual dining - Pagliacci's Pizza and Dick's Drive-In hamburgers.

4. A Starbucks is connected to the hotel (great for morning coffee on the rooftop deck) and there are many good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
