6. We paid less than half of the best rate available directly from the hotel but still felt like we overpaid after adding in parking and the lack of a complimentary breakfast.

7. Or, you can opt for street parking and feed the meters however the hotel does offer a short term rate for three hours which it works out to be the same as the metered rate without the necessity of keeping a running clock ticking in your head.

8. I chose Crowne Plaza because they provide shuttle service to and from the airport, but it turned out that everything in the hotel, including service, was first rate.

9. Only complaints were that housekeeping didn't come until late in the day (after 4:30) and though it is not in downtown but rather in a nearby industrial type area, they still charge high rates for overnight parking.
