But if you weren't leaving the car at the hotel during the day you can often find street
parking
for free at night.

I found it took under 10 minutes to get to downtown, and
parking
was really easy and a lot of the times free there.

As we headed out, the
parking
attendant again was very professional and went over and above as he loaded our bags and helped my wife into our Durango.

We paid less than half of the best rate available directly from the hotel but still felt like we overpaid after adding in
parking
and the lack of a complimentary breakfast.

They did charge an additional $10 for
parking
, but it was within walking distance of the Convention Center, so I broke even by walking the three blocks to my event.

Or, you can opt for street
parking
and feed the meters however the hotel does offer a short term rate for three hours which it works out to be the same as the metered rate without the necessity of keeping a running clock ticking in your head.
