4. We also found the on site laundry room to be very convenient for taking care of our week's worth of laundry (they are coin operated but there is a change machine in the laundry room and the front desk was very accomodating in breaking larger bills for us).

6. - there are laundry facilities, but ask for a unit with a washer and dryer since there is no price difference- you don't need to bring boogie boards or snorkeling gear since most units have it, or you can rent it.
