2. And do make sure you walk on the boardwalk to go to Whaler's Village where there are several shops, a whaling museum, some fast-food places and three restaurant/grill/bar places.

5. It may not be the a fivestar hotel by all standards, but everyone was very friendly, the room was nice, the pool was beautiful and the location on the beach and in walking distance of a big shoppingarea with good restaurants was everything this midwest couple needed.

9. We had picked this hotel based on our previous trip to Maui when we had gone to the Tiki Terrace for supper (the main restaurant) to have a very good traditionally prepared Hawai'ian meal.

10. The grounds of this hotel are beautiful but their tiki bar restaurant has very old heavy lawn furniture with dirty pillows to sit on and their hula restaurant looks very old and also has an old musty dirty wood smell.
