1. Having also stayed at the Hyatt Regency, which is considerably more expensive, I would say that the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel is one of the best deals on Maui and definitely one of the best deals in Ka'anapali Beach.

10. Easy walk to Whalers Wharf with restaurants and shops was a great plus - and they have a shuttle bus there for $1 that takes you into Lahaina - awesome deal.
