1. I must note that the assistant hotel manager names Eric Franklin had much expertise with where to dine, etc. He has lived in the area for 25 years, therefore, he could share solid information about non-touristy hot spots, etc. I love to go to a few touristy restaurants and also to the local favorites.

3. The position was great - very close to the beach, but quite a walk to State Street which has lots of terrific restaurants - and unfortunately the trolley stops at 6.00 pm so too far to walk for dinner at night.

9. We Enjoyed it because we were in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, which meant we could walk or take the tram from the Inn to the beach or Restaurants.
