1. My husband was a little dubious because the rate wasn't expensive, and we were all pleasantly surprised that we could find such a gem at a great price.

Positive points: location (only a few blocks to the beach), nice decor, comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave in my room, good rate ($135), great chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon, very friendly front desk staff (particularly Tom, who was very helpful), and a good continental breakfast.
