I'd definitely recommend you to go for a jog / walk along the Charles river its 3-5 minutes away and it has a fabulous
view
of the river in fall and as well during the winter when its frozen.

All things being equal, (and the Mandarin and Four Seasons room rates are right on par with each other), the Four Seasons has it over the Mandarin by virtue of the Public Garden
view
s & infinitely more elegant shops adjacent to it.
