1. The rest of the hotel is pretty amazing: the lobby and grounds are nothing short of stunning and extremely well-kept; the main pool (despite the closed slide), second smaller pool, and three hot-tubs are great and clean, although the music is a bit much in the main pool; there's a little beach on the lake which is delightful; you can rent bikes and boats right near the beach; hotel features a lot of activities for kids and families around the pool and beach; room service was excellent all three times we used it; and the hotel staff and concierge were extremely helpful and responsive.

2. The same was also true of staff and food at the Roaring Fork counter service/food court where we ate dinner several times, and room service pizza delivery was also prompt and pretty decent pizza for our first night's meal after an early evening check-in.

Despite the great room service, tantelizing food, endless guest amenities, impeccable and pleasant guest services, clean rooms, perfect view of magic kingdoms fireworks, fabulous pool with children's games and give-aways, all I can think about is how I had to come home without my wedding rings and other sentimentalities that were selfishly taken away (I believe by a hotel employee).

7. Room service was fast and the front desk had a great scavenger adventure for the kids to find the hidden Mickey Mouse heads.
