1. Also, FYI - there is free on-street parking overnight on Friday nights in downtown Albany (probably Saturday too).

2. We check in and while there if free street parking right out front we are told we need to valet (I should not have to fight to park in free street parking which is where they park the cars anyway) .

4. Our room on the 8th floor was it he back of the hotel, so we did not hear any of the noise from the construction the City was doing on State Street.

7. That being said, it's located in a business district, so there's not much happening on the weekends other than at The Egg, or at Jack's Oyster House down the street.

8. First, it's very warm feeling with a fireplace and wood paneled ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows overlooking State Street.

10. Valet parking right out front but I think there is street parking available depending on the day of the week.
